Aromatic Scent: A strong middle-top note.  Balsamic, Coniferous, Fresh, Piney, Warm, and Woody.  Distinctive scent of Balsam Fir needles.

Blends Well With: Benzoin, Cedarwood, Lavender, Patchouli, Pine, Rosemary, and Spruce.

This oil is safe for children.

Add a maximum of 10 drops (0.5 mL) to 5 mL of carrier oil (or 10%) for topical applications.

Balsam Fir supports the 4th and 6th chakras.

 

Tisserand & Young have shown that Balsam Fir oil is harmful when oxidized but is otherwise non-irritating and may be safe during pregnancy. [1]

Avoid old or oxidized Balsam Fir oil.  Store in refrigerator to extend shelf life.

We do not recommend topical use in concentrations above 10%.

This oil should not be taken in oral doses.
